COURMAYEUR – VILLA

The project involved the complete redevelopment and extension of a 1930s villa with two above-ground floors and a non-habitable attic.
Through the house plan, it was possible to extend the house by recovering the attic, thus dividing the space into three independent living units.
The larger flat has retained the villa’s historic independent entrance from the ground floor, while a new stairwell has been created for the other two units, with steps covered in pietra serena.
Compared to the historic conformation of the house, the new intervention has made the volume more harmonious and enhanced the views towards Mont Blanc, now clearly visible through the large windows installed and the new balconies created.
