Bergamo, Terno d’Isola

The project involved the complete reorganization of the top floor of a commercial building on the outskirts of Bergamo, covering a total area of 400 sqm. The concept behind the project was to create a space where opposites meet, forming an elegant interplay of contrasts.

The systems (lighting, mechanical, and electrical) are left exposed and painted in matte black to blend seamlessly with the ceiling, where circular elements add a sense of movement. The walls are also black, with painted metal shelving units emerging as if suspended in mid-air.

Glass partitions define different areas without truly dividing them, creating a sense of openness and continuity.

The furnishings were crafted using reclaimed materials from construction sites. In keeping with the post-industrial aesthetic, the floors were finished in resin, while the bathrooms are clad in ceppo stone.
