The most significant stops on our journey included Nagoya, home to Toyota Home, Suzaki, and Misawa Home, as well as Honjo, where Marelli is based. The amount we learned and explored in such a short time is immeasurable: from reducing waste, both environmental and time-related, to the concept of “Kaizen,” meaning continuous improvement driven directly by worker feedback. We’ve realized that technology alone is not enough—it must only be used after developing a method that is extremely organized and precise, independent of technology itself.
